In some boys during puberty and adolescence, breasts develop to notable size. This can cause psychological problems and cause the boys to be embarrassed to take their clothes off in the locker rooms or in the swimming pools. But, the breasts become normal in most of these boys in 2 to 3 years from the time they develop the breasts. In some, the enlarged breasts persist.
